Leaked GTA 6 Physical Packaging Points to Pack-In Collector's Map Poster
Leaked retail packaging for GTA 6 reveals back-of-box screenshots and hints at a double-sided physical map poster included inside discless boxes.
Rumor / unconfirmed. This story reports a claim that has not been established as a confirmed game detail.
Early retail packaging for Grand Theft Auto VI has surfaced ahead of the game's release, providing a closer look at the retail packaging and further evidence of physical pack-in artwork.
Images originating through European retailer MediaMarkt and social media posts from Germany show the front and back of retail game boxes. While earlier confirmations revealed that physical editions will not include game discs—relying instead on download vouchers—the retail packaging reportedly carries physical weight, pointing to the inclusion of Rockstar's announced double-sided collector's poster.
Rockstar previously confirmed that it produced a double-sided print featuring the Leonida map on one side and key promotional art on the other. Retail imagery circulating online reveals the artwork side, highlighting the title's promotional cover girl, while the reverse map layout remains under wraps.
In addition to the art leak, the reverse side of the retail case features two unreleased screenshots depicting scenes across Leonida, alongside standard storage and age rating disclosures.
Because physical copies lack playable media on disc, early retail inventory does not risk early gameplay leaks or narrative spoilers. Players who acquire a box ahead of launch will still face digital activation barriers until official servers unlock access.
To ensure parity for digital customers—including those purchasing the $100 digital-only special tier—Rockstar will distribute the collectible poster through its official store for $1, or include it free with qualifying merchandise orders shortly following release.
